Miscreants ransack KHADC office in Meghalaya’s South West Khasi Hills

In a shocking incident, unknown miscreants broke into the office of the Khasi Hills Autonomous District Council (KHADC) in Meghalaya’s South West Khasi Hills.
The miscreants broke open several rooms, including the room of the superintendent, where documents related to professional taxes were kept. Some documents were also found missing from the KHADC Mawkyrwat Branch.
However, it is yet to be ascertained when the incident occurred, but according to officials, this could have happened on weekends.
According to reports, an investigation process is underway.
