Meghalaya: Saleng Sangma, Vincent Pala to be Cong’s Lok Sabha candidates: Sources

This was decided at a meeting held under the leadership of Congress Screening Committee Chairman Rana KP Singh at Rajiv Bhawan in Guwahati
The Meghalaya Congress Screening Committee has cleared the names of Saleng Sangma and Vincent H. Pala for the Tura and Shillong parliamentary seats respectively, according to sources.
The final decision regarding the matter will be decided by Congress’ central election committee.
This was decided at a meeting held under the leadership of Congress Screening Committee Chairman Rana KP Singh at Rajiv Bhawan in Guwahati.
Congress MLA Ronnie Lyngdoh and Congress State General Secretary Sanjay Das were also present at the meeting.
Earlier Pala had said that there were four congress leaders who had shown an interest in contesting for the Tura parliamentary seat.
