Sangma was involved in a candid heart-to-heart interview with Wasbir Hussain yesterday at the first-ever conclave of Northeast Live. He was asked probing questions about if he had any political advantages being a son of a former Chief Minister, the challenges faced by the Northeastern region among others.
He candidly replied that there were certain benefits of being a Chief Minister’s son but ultimately a person has to deliver results, without which the general public will see through him, and his background will only help him for so long. He further added that the Northeastern states, being small in size, faces certain challenges but every state faces its own unique challenges and everyone has its own advantages and disadvantages.
