5th Women Conference of Rongmei Baptist Church Council underway in Manipur

Speaking on the occasion, MLA Janghemlung Panmei encouraged the Rongmei women to be god-fearing and good mothers in order to shape the society
The second day of the 5th women’s conference of the Rongmei Baptist Churches Council (RBCC) was held on Thursday at Manipur’s Gaidimjang Ground, Khoupum, Noney District.
The event was graced by MLA Janghemlung Panmei as Chief Guest, Tamenglong AC MLA, and Noney Deputy Commissioner, Joseph Pauline Kamson as special guest.
Speaking on the occasion, MLA Janghemlung Panmei encouraged the Rongmei women to be god-fearing and good mothers in order to shape the society.
Several prominent persons spoke on the topic of health during the morning seminar.
In the evening, guest speaker Kariuganhliu Kamei Koza spoke on the topic of an influential woman.
A Cultural Night programme was also held by Imphal Zone and Tamenglong Zone women delegates.
A total of 37 churches took part in the Group B Choir Competition.
Meanwhile, a group C choir competition was held today in the morning.
