MP Tapir Gao believes that people will choose the BJP because of it's development agenda

With just months to go for the Lok Sabha elections, BJP MP from Arunachal Pradesh, Tapir Gao has expressed confidence that the whole of Northeast will support Prime Minister Narendra Modi and help BJP sweep all the 25 Lok Sabha seats in the region.

The BJP is looking to consolidate its position further and win all the 25 Lok Sabha seats in the 8 states.

“The effect of the results in the 3 states (Chattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan) is good. 25 out of 25 seats in Northeast will go to the BJP, the entire Northeast will come out in support of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. You can see that we have governments in Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Tripura, Manipur, we have alliance in Meghalaya, Nagaland, Mizoram and Sikkim, so there is no stone unturned. We will give 25 out of 25 to the BJP from Northeast.”

The 2-time MP said that the entire Northeast has undergone massive transformation under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. According to him, the co-ordination between the Centre and the state governments have eased due to effective mechanisms devised by PM Modi.
MP Gao stated, “Previously Northeast states were known as den of terrorists as well as den of all illegal activities, nobody wanted to come here. But under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi, Northeast is now a heaven. Earlier, there were no airports, but today each and every state in Northeast has an airport. There were no highways, but now all the 8 states in Northeast have highways. Narendra Modi is the only Prime Minister to visit Northeast more than 50 times.
Earlier, all the Chief Ministers, state cabinet ministers used to rush to Delhi, but now Prime Minister Modi has chalked such a mechanism where every union minister has to visit the states in every 15 days. Because of this certain issues get resolved there itself in presence of the union ministers.”
