What did Assam CM tell Shah Rukh at 2AM amid reports of vandalism in Guwahati hall showing Pathaan?

The Assam CM had earlier asked, “Who is Shah Rukh Khan?”
Within hours of asking who is Shah Rukh Khan, Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma received a call from Bollywood ka Badshah Shah Rukh Khan at 2 in the morning expressing concern over reports of members of a right-wing outfit allegedly vandalising property and burning down posters of ‘Pathaan’ at a cinema hall in Guwahati.
CM Sarma tweeted about the phone call and said that he has assured Shah Rukh Khan that the state government will ensure no untoward incident takes place during the screening of his film ‘Pathaan’.
“Bollywood actor Shri @iamsrk called me and we talked today morning at 2 am. He expressed concern about an incident in Guwahati during the screening of his film,” the Chief Minister said in a tweet.
“I assured him that it’s duty of state govt to maintain law & order. We’ll enquire and ensure no such untoward incidents,” he added.
Members said to be from the Bajrang Dal allegedly stormed into a cinema hall in Assam’s Narengi on Friday and vandalised and burnt down posters of his film ‘Pathaan’ that has been mired in controversy much before its release.
Interesting to mention that CM Sarma received the call from King Khan within hours of the CM saying in a press conference in Guwahati yesterday, “Who is Shah Rukh Khan? Why should we care? We have many Shah Rukh Khans here? What is Pathaan?,” when asked about the incident at the Guwahati cinema hall.
The CM had further said yesterday, “I have not heard about any movie by the name of ‘Pathaan’ and neither do I have any time for it,” he added.
He, however, did say, “Action will be taken, if law and order is violated.
But, so far, I have not received any complaints from the cinema hall owners or the makers of the film. If there has been any incident, Shah Rukh Khan, himself, should have called me up. If he does so, I will look into the matter.”
Pathaan was released in theatres across India on 25 January.
