Spine chilling murder: Student kills principal in front of class, boasts about crime on social media

The incident has been reported from the Sai Vikash Academy, a senior secondary school and coaching centre in Sivasagar, Assam.
In a spine-chilling incident, a 16-year-old student brutally killed the principal of his school in front of the entire class, barged into the principal’s chamber thereafter, sat on the principal’s chair and recorded a video admitting to the crime and posted the confession on social media that has since gone viral.
The incident has been reported from the Sai Vikash Academy, a senior secondary school and coaching centre in Sivasagar, Assam.
In the video, he can be heard saying, “I have murdered the principal.”
The gruesome act has left students and teachers of the school and the parents traumatised and in a state of shock.
The deceased principal has been identified as Rajesh Babu (47), who hailed from Andhra Pradesh and was residing in Phukon Nagar area of Sivasagar town.
Narrating the horrific murder, a student said that Rjesh Babu had scolded the accused student for not doing well in maths class. The accused student then left the school, only to return shortly afterwards with a knife. When Rajesh Babu questioned him about why he had come back not wearing his school uniform, he took out the knife and brutally stabbed Rajesh Babu in front of the entire class.
Immediately after the incident the teachers sent the student home for disciplinary reasons and rushed the principal to Dibrugarh for urgent medical attention. However, he succumbed to his injuries on the way to hospital.
The accused student is at the children-friendly cell of Sivasagar Sadar Police Station. He will be soon produced before the Juvenile Justice Board, Sivasagar for which formalities are being carried out, said Subhrajyoti Bora, SP, Sivasagar.
Meanwhile, teachers at the school are concerned and worried and said that it is concerning if children act out in this way when they are scolded by teachers for doing something wrong or for trying to discipline them.
