Singapore First Country to Partner With Assam for Advantage Assam 2.0 Global Investors’ Summit to be Held on Feb 24-25 in Guwahati

Singapore has become the first country to partner Assam in the highly anticipated Advantage Assam 2.0 Summit to be held on February 24-25, 2025 in Guwahati.

“Very happy to meet Hon’ble CM @himantabiswa and Hon’ble MOS @PmargheritaBJP at the #AdvantageAssam2 Ambassadors’ Roundtable. Singapore will be the first partner country for the #AdvantageAssam2 Summit in February 2025. Look forward to further cooperation,” Wong worte on X.

The summit aims to attract global investors to Assam, focusing on boosting infrastructure development, investment opportunities, and creating employment in the state.

Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma was on a 3-day visit to Mumbai from January 5-7 to engage with potential investors.

CM Sarma also reached out to foreign investors during the Ambassadors’ Roundtable held in New Delhi.

High Commissioners and Ambassadors of 36 countries joined the Ambassadors’ Roundtable.

The second edition of Advantage Assam, since its 2018 launch, is set to enhance infrastructure development and foster increased investment in the state.

Chief Minister Sarma said that Advantage Assam 2.0 is poised to bring substantial investments to the state, leading to the creation of government jobs and expanded entrepreneurship support for Assam’s residents.

One of the summit’s highlights will be a spectacular Jhumur dance performance featuring more than 7,500 dancers and artists, marking an extraordinary cultural showcase.
