SEBA releases Assam board HSLC examination 2024 routine: Check details here

According to the official schedule, the board exams will be held from February 16, 2024 to March 4, 2024.
The Board of Secondary Education, Assam (SEBA) has released the exam schedule for the Assam HSLC exams 2024.
According to the official schedule, the board exams will be held from February 16, 2024 to March 4, 2024.
The exams will be held for English on February 16, Social Science on February 20, MIL on February 23, General Science on February 26, Mathematics on February 29, and the 4 elective subjects.
The exam will be conducted in two shifts i.e. morning and afternoon. The morning shift exam will be conducted from 9 am to 12 noon and the afternoon shift exam will be held from 1:30 pm to 4:30 pm.
Unlike last year, only 5 minutes extra time is allowed for both the shifts.
Earlier, the Board has also introduced changes for the HSLC Exam 2024. This time, “OMR sheet will be introduced for answering objective type questions (50% of total marks) carrying 1 mark each in case of core subjects, i.e., English (C1), General Mathematics (C2), General Science (C3) and Social Science (C4). The OMR will be personalized, therefore there will be one OMR sheet in the name of a particular candidate.,” official statement said.
The OMR sheet will be provided for 50% of the total questions, while for the rest 50 questions, separate answer scripts containing 16 pages will be provided as before.
The Board has also released the eligibility criteria of the students for appearing in HSLC Examination 2024.
- The students who appeared in Unit Test – 1 (except those students who were unsuccessful in HSLC Examination 2023) and are regularly attending in classes and who will appear in subsequent examinations like Unit Test-II, Half Yearly Examination and Pre-Board Examination.
- The unsuccessful candidates of HSLC Examination 2023 who are readmitted in Class X but could not appear in Unit Test-II and Pre-Board Examination.
SEBA has requested that the Inspector of Schools provide advanced notice to all students regarding the modifications to the HSLC exam in 2024.
