Miscreants open fire in Sonari along Assam-Nagaland Border; Two injured

Tension prevailed in Assam’s Charaideo district on Sunday night after unidentified miscreants opened fire and injured two workers.
The injured workers were identified as Dandu Mahali and Suresh Munda.
The incident took place at the Kanubari tea estate in Sonari along the interstate border with Nagaland.
As per inputs, the altercation was initiated by two Naga miscreants who arrived on a motorcycle and opened fire.
The miscreants, armed with country-made pistols, targeted the tea estate premises, wounding two workers.
The incident has raised concerns in the area, and authorities are investigating the matter to identify and apprehend the culprits responsible for the shooting.
