Sarma further took aim at Congress leader for visiting the Batadrava Than during the time of the Ram Temple consecration.
Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma said that educational institutions across the state will remain closed tomorrow as it is not feasible for them to open after 2 p.m.
Addressing the media, Sarma also urged restaurants not to serve non-veg food till the completion of the Pran Pratistha ceremony in Ayodhya.
He further urged the shopkeepers and business establishments to keep their shutters down tomorrow until the completion of Pran Pratistha. He added that no non-vegetarian shops will be open till 4 p.m.
Chief Minister Sarma said,“Tomorrow till 2 p.m we will keep the government institutes closed. Questions were raised if educational institutes would be able to open after 2 p.m, hence we decided to close educational institutes for the whole of tomorrow.”
“I would also like to request businessmen , if possible, to close their business institutions during the duration of the Pran Pratistha. If this happens the people working in such organisations will also experience the event. I would also like to request people to light an earthern lamp in fron of their homes in the evening” he added.
Sarma further took aim at Congress leader for visiting the Batadrava Than during the time of the Ram Temple consecration.
“ I would like to request Rahul Gandhi not to vist the Batadrava Than during the Ram Temple consecration time. Television will show Ram Temple consecration on one hand and Rahul Gandhi’s Batadrava Than visit on the other which is not good for Assam. Therefore I would like to request him to visit the Than at any other time,” he added.
