Guwahati Police Announces Rs 2 lakh Reward for Info on Purabi Dairy Distributor’s Killers

After 4 days of the shoot-out in Panjabari, Guwahati that killed a Purabi Dairy distributor, Guwahati Police has announced a reward of Rs 2 lakh for any information that can lead to the arrest of the murderers of Ranjit Bora, who was shot dead on November 21 at Panjabari, Guwahati.

“Information can be shared on WhatsApp 6026901247. The informant’s identify will be kept secret,” the Guwahati Police tweet said.

Ranjit Bora, a distributor of Purabi Dairy in Guwahati, was shot dead in broad daylight when he had reached an ICICI bank branch in Panjabri area of Guwahati to deposit Rs 2.5 lakh.

Two bike-borne assailants shot Bora and fled with the money. Bora was rushed to the Guwahati Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), but succumbed to his injuries.
