Horrific road accident in Assam: 9 dead, 11 injured

Preliminary reports suggest that the truck driver was in an inebriated state, which led to this horrific incident
In a tragic incident, at least nine people were killed and 11 others were critically injured after a truck rammed into a vehicle carrying passengers at Dirak in Assam’s Tinsukia district last night.
As per inputs, the Tata magic carrying passengers was hit by the truck at Bordirak Tiniali in Tinsukia district.
Preliminary reports suggest that the truck driver was in an inebriated state, which led to this horrific incident.
Seven of the nine deceased have been identified as Paben Maran (driver), Mihidhar Neog, Kulai Mech, Yadav Tai, Binita Baruah, Rina Gogoi, and Pallavi Rabha.
Those who are critically injured are identified as Atul Gogoi, Buranjit Maran, Jonali Maran, Vikas Neog, Goleshwar Maran, Mano Maran, Yashoda Maran, Lakmani Maran, Avlata Maran, Pinki Maran, and Makan Gogoi.
