Guwahati police arrest kingpin who supplied cocaine to pubs and rave parties in city

33 gram of cocaine and 11.66 gram of MDMA (a powdered drug) was recovered from Navis
Wanted drug kingpin Digvijay Navis and his aide Kundan Thakur were arrested by Guwahati police today. Navis is known for supplying drugs to pubs and rave parties in the city.
Guwahati Police Commissioner Diganta Barah said that police received information yesterday that Navis was residing in the city. After that a team was formed to nab the culprit and he was finally arrested in Hengerabari’s Ganapati enclave building.
Police Commissioner Barah added that Navis has been running his operations in Guwahati for quite some time. Navis is a local of Guwahati who lived in Bangalore and later shifted to Guwahati.
He said that 33 gram of cocaine and 11.66 gram of MDMA (a powdered drug) was recovered from Navis.
Navis frequently travelled to New Delhi to get his supply of drugs. He brought them in small quantities and sold it in Guwahati, the Police Commissioner said.
“Digvijay Navis lives in Guwahati with his parents and ran his own tattoo shop in Zoo road area of the city,” Barah added.
