Guwahati Accident: Class 11 student killed on the spot after being run over by school bus of another school

A Class 11 student of Little Flower School, Guwahati was crushed to death this morning just near her school in Hatigaon after she was hit from behind by the school bus of another Guwahati school, Royal Global School.

The student died on the spot after the wheels of the bus crushed her head, an eyewitness said.

The child was coming to school with her sister on a scooter when the Royal Global School’s bus hit them from behind killing the student on the spot. The elder sister who was driving the scooter got thrown away to the other side of the road, the eyewitness said.

The driver of the school bus managed to flee from the accident site. The accident took place near Rajdhani Masjid, just few metres away from Little Flower School.

A huge angry crowd gathered at the spot.

Police have reached the spot.

It was a sad sight to see shocked and horrified students looking at their fellow schoolmate/classmate lying in a pool of blood, lifeless, early in the morning.
