Assam: 1 DNLA cadre killed, 3 injured in police encounter in Dima Hasao

The deceased cadre has been identified as Ali Dimasa alias Bibijit Longmailai
One cadre of the banned militant outfit-Dimasa National Liberation Army (DNLA) was killed, while three others were injured in a police encounter in Assam’s Dima Hasao district on Thursday midnight.
The encounter took place at Khashmaipur near Maibang in Dima Hasao.
The deceased cadre has been identified as Ali Dimasa alias Bibijit Longmailai, while the injured were identified as–Tinjon Dimasa, Shot Dimasa and Rainbow Dimasa.
As per inputs, an altaraction broke out between police personnel and the cadres following which the police opened fire.
The DNLA cadres are sheltered at a designated camp in Khashmaipur, near Maibang.
