Assam: Woman found dead on NH-29 in Karbi Anglong

The woman has been identified as Renuka Darji (45), a resident of Rajapathar under Bakaliaghat police station

Sensation prevails in Karbi Anglong’s Bakaliaghat after locals recovered a lifeless body of a woman on the National Highway 29.

As per inputs, body of the woman was found lying in a pool blood on the road near Kirkuk Higher Secondary School under North Barbil police station.

The woman was rushed to a Hospital but doctors pronounced her dead. The deceased was also bleeding at the scene with severe head injuries.

The woman has been identified as Renuka Darji (45), a resident of Rajapathar under Bakaliaghat police station.

The exact cause of death is yet to be ascertained.

Police investigations are underway.
