Assam girl to participate in International Blind Sports Federation World Games, England

Earlier in January this year, Simu won the titles of Player of the Series and Player of the Match in the blind women's cricket competition held in Nepal
In a proud moment, Simu Das from Assam has been selected in the blind Indian women’s cricket team to participate in the International Blind Sports Federation World Games, 2023, in England.
Simu Das will be traveling to England for the match on behalf of the team in August.
Simu Das is a resident of Kathiatali in Assam’s Nagaon district.
She is the first blind girl from Assam to qualify for the blind women’s cricket team.
Simu first played for Team Rajasthan. Earlier in January this year, Simu won the titles of Player of the Series and Player of the Match in the blind women’s cricket competition held in Nepal. After that, Simu played a T20 match in Bangalore.
Simu has expressed happiness over being selected as the only girl from Assam to represent the state at the international level.
Simu has now appealed to the people of Assam for support.
