Assam: Fatal road accident in Jakhalabandha, one killed

The spate of tragic accidents continues in Assam. In just three days, after the state witnessed one of the most tragic accidents that claimed the lives of seven engineering students, another fatal accident was reported last night from Jakhalabandha, Assam.
As per inputs, one person died on spot after a truck rammed into a car in the Ranglu area in Jakhalabandha.
The deceased, identified as Rajiv Bora, was reportedly on his way to Jorhat from Guwahati when the tragic accident took place.
Another person, identified as Rittick Bordoloi, has been injured in the mishap and admitted to the Jakhalabandha hospital.
It may be mentioned here that on May 28, a tragic fatal road accident in Jalukbari claimed the lives of seven students of Assam Engineering College (AEC).
The incident occurred on Sunday night when a SUV carrying the students lost control and collided with a Bolero pickup van.
