Assam CM Himanta Biswa to campaign for Gujarat Polls today

Sarma is all set to campaign for the BJP in PM Narendra Modi's home turf Gujarat. Sarma will be addressing 3 rallies today.

Assam CM and Northeast Democratic Alliance (NEDA) convenor Himanta Biswa Sarma will be on blitzkrieg campaign trail in poll bound Gujarat. The BJP Strongman will address as many as 3 mega election rallies at Anjar, Adipur and Kamrej today.

The elections for the Gujarat Legislative Assembly is scheduled to be held in 2 phases from December 1 to 5, for electing 182 members of the 15th Gujarat Legislative Assembly. The results will be declared on 8 December 2022.

Meanwhile, the politics in Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s home turf has heated up with the entry of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP).

Despite the BJP sweeping the 2021 Gujarat local body elections by winning all corporation and district panchayats, the AAP has emerged a new factor as the party made significant inroads.
