Assam: Biker dies after bike crashes into parked vehicle

A bike rider was killed after his bike crashed into a stationary truck that was parked by the road side in Assam’s Charaideo district on Thursday.

The incident took place at Dhodar Ali in Banfera area under Sonari police station.

The deceased has been identified as Bishal Saikia, a resident of Teokghat, Charaideo district. He was studying at Institute for Transnational Arbitration (ITA) in Guwahati.

It has been alleged that the truck was parked almost in the middle of the road without any parking lights on.

Police has reached the spot and a case has been registered against the driver.
