Goals and Vision of Alternative Party of Bodoland:

The newly formed party aims to bring transparency, inclusivity, and genuine public service to the Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR). Committed to addressing the aspirations of the people, the party prioritises the immediate release of Ranjan Daimary and other imprisoned ex-NDFB cadres. APB envisions a peaceful, just, and prosperous BTR, where governance is free from corruption and political manipulation.

Led by Anjali Daimary, the party seeks to foster development for all communities, ensuring that people of different religions and backgrounds coexist harmoniously.

APB emphasises honesty over money-driven politics and vows to work towards policies that uplift marginalised groups, promote equal opportunities, and strengthen grassroots democracy. Through its formation, the party aims to serve the people with integrity and create a Bodoland that truly represents the will and welfare of its residents.

Anjali Daimary said, “Our party stands above lies and money. We are committed to complete transparency. We did not form this party for politics but solely to serve the people.”

She further added, “We promise to work together with people of all religions and communities to ensure lasting peace in BTR. Our efforts will focus on guaranteeing equal development opportunities and progress for everyone in the region.”

BTR Chief and UPPL leader Pramod Boro responded to the formation of the new party, saying, “India is a democratic country. Every day, a party can be formed or broken. I have nothing to say. Let people do what they want. My only request is that whatever is done, it should not cause harm to the people and communities of this region.”

With the emergence of the Alternative Party of Bodoland, the political landscape in BTR is set for new developments. Whether APB will gain significant support remains to be seen.
