2 more officials arrested in connection with APSC cash-for-jobs scam

Dibrugarh Police arrested two officials in connection with the APSC cash-for-jobs scam on Tuesday and will produce them in a special Court today.

The arrested officials have been identified as Dhubri Superintendent of Taxes, Vikash Kumar Pincha and Morigaon Superintendent of Taxes, Manas Pratim Haloi.

Both the officials were arrested after intense grilling by the Dibrugarh Police at the Special Branch of Assam Police at Kahilipara in Guwahati.

Notably, this development comes days after the Dibrugarh Police summoned 9 ACS-APS officials for a handwriting test.

Earlier, 24 ACS-APS officials were arrested by the Dibrugarh Police in connection with the Cash-for-job Scam.
