2 kids abducted from Guwahati rescued from Bihar

The mother of the children accused her husband’s business partner Sudhir to have kidnapped the kids due to some business dispute
Two children who were abducted from Gotanagar area of Maligaon near Guwahati on Friday have been safely rescued by Guwahati police from Mahua in Bihar’s Vaishali district.
The two children, aged 4 and 9, were taken by a family acquaintance on Thursday evening on the pretext of taking them for a ride and did not return.
Following this, the family of the children registered a case at the Gaushala Police Station.
Taking prompt action, the police recovered both children from Mahua in Bihar’s Vaishali district.
“The person came and asked for a charger, I gave it to him, and after that, he ran away with my kids. He took the kids on a scooty to Bihar. He used to consume alcohol and drugs. He betrayed us,” the mother of the children said.
The accused, identified as Sudhir Kumar, and the children’s father used to do business together, but a year ago there was a rift in their partnership.
The mother has now demanded strict punishment against the accused.
