Arunachal trader killing: NSCN (K-YA) rebel, Police constable arrested

Breakthrough into Arunachal Pradesh Attar Singh killing case. Arunachal Pradesh police constable, NSCN-K (Y-A) rebel, OWG arrested.

In a big breakthrough, the Arunachal Pradesh police has arrested a police constable, a fresh recruit of NSCN (K – YA) and an OGW, who is the brother of a hardcore NSCN (K – YA) cadre in connection with the 70 year old trader Atar Singh Sharma assassination case.

This was informed by B. Tangjang, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Longding.

The police official also stated that the car used by the 4 member group of assailants was also traced and recovered.

The owner of the car is the police constable Langlem Wangpan, who according to the police had ferried the 4 member group of NSCN (K-YA) militants to the shop of Sharma and then dropped them to Chatting village in Longding district after the assassination.

The NSCN (K-YA) over ground worker arrested by the security forces is Awang Wangsu, brother of self styled Sergeant Major Wanglam Wangsu while the third arrested person is self styled Private Akkah Wangsu.
