Arunachal Pradesh Assembly Speaker Pasang Dorjee Sona has been appointed the Executive Committee Member of the Commonwealth Parliamentary Association (CPA) Secretariat India Region.

Sona expressed his gratitude towards Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla and said, ‘Your trust means a lot to me, and I am truly honoured”

Taking to Twitter, Sona wrote, “My sincere gratitude to the Hon’ble Speaker of Lok Sabha, Shri @ombirlakota, for entrusting me with the role of Exco member of Commonwealth Parliamentary Association (CPA) India Region.”

Earlier, Sona was elected two times as chairman of the Commonwealth Parliamentary Association (CPA) India Region Zone-III.
