In a significant milestone, pending final confirmations, Arunachal Pradesh is poised to host the grand finale of the prestigious 60th Femina Miss India.

Expressing optimism, Arunachal Chief Minister Pema Khandu, in a post on X, said, “If all goes well, Arunachal Pradesh will make history by hosting the 60th-year celebrations of the Femina Miss India Grand Finale! We’ve had productive discussions with the Miss India Organization and are confident in our improved infrastructure to organize this prestigious event. We eagerly look forward to the possibilities!
Sources indicate fruitful discussions between the state government and the Miss India Organization, with necessary infrastructure preparations underway for this esteemed event. The pageant winner will represent India at the Miss World competition.
Arunachal Pradesh could become the second state from the Northeast to host the finale of the prestigious event. The finale of the 59th Femina Miss India was held in Imphal, Manipur, in 2023.
