Sensation prevails, after a junior engineer and a supervisor of a private construction company were abducted by militants this morning.

As per inputs, 4 heavily armed gunmen equipped with sophisticated weapons came to an under construction bridge site and kidnapped Liamgao Pansa, Supervisor, and Sashan Yadav, JE, in the wee hours today.

The abduction took place in between Pongchau and Konnu village. Further, the militants also snatched away more than 20 mobile handsets from the bridge construction workers.

Rebel group NSCN (K-YA) is suspected to be behind the abduction.
