Arunachal: Ex-APSSB Under Secy Kapter Ringu dismissed

Ringu was arrested by the Special Investigation Cell (SIC) on 20 February, 2020, and was put under suspension.

The Arunachal Pradesh government is on a Mission Mode to eliminate irregularities in governance so as to maintain transparency in the entire system.

In a big development, former Arunachal Pradesh Staff Selection Board (APSSB) undersecretary and APPSC officer Kapter Ringu has been dismissed from service.

The official has been dismissed from service for her alleged role in the APSSB cash-for-job scam which came to light in February 2020.

Whereas the Under secrertary was given an opputunity of personal hearing and to give a written explanation.

Upon examination of the written explanation given by Ringu, it was found that the explanation was not consistent in reference to the facts related with the case.

Ringu was arrested by the Special Investigation Cell (SIC) on 20 February, 2020, and was put under suspension.

The senior grade officer’s dismissal comes after the state government came under pressure from different quarters of the society demanding proper inquiry and stern action against all the officers involved in the APSSB Cash-for-Job scam and the APPSC question paper leak case as well.
