Imphal is hosting an arts and crafts exhibition for the residents of the border areas. The exhibition is organised at the newly inaugurated ‘Urban Haat’ community market.
The exhibition is aimed at promoting the artisans of far flung border areas and provide them exposure in order to initiate the sale of their products to people coming across the country to visit the celebration of Indian folk craftsmanship.
Around 30 stalls have been put up at the exhibition. It is set to held every 15 days for the local artistes to promote folk art and craft.
