NEC Plenary meet ends: HM Shah reviews development, peace, infra, economic aspects

A number of issues including ongoing development projects, law and order situation, enhancing connectivity, infra besides others were the top agendas of the meeting.

Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu said that the NEC Plenary meeting chaired by Union Home Minister Amit Shah primarily focussed on the development aspect in the region.

Chief Minister Khandu said that he and Governor BD Mishra apprised the Home minister about the progress of the ongoing development projects in the frontier state.

Not only this, talks also focused on preparing a roadmap for further development in every nook and corner of the state.

Pema Khandu added that the Arunachal Pradesh government has received a lot of help from the Centre in the last 8 years as developing infrastructure is concerned.

However, Khandu maintained that a lot needs to be done for further improvement of infrastructure in Arunachal Pradesh.

Besides, the Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister hoped that the border areas of the state will benefit immensely under the Centre’s Vibrant Village Program and PM DIVINE project.

Khandu also heaped praise on Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership.

Meanwhile, Mizoram Chief Minister Zoramthanga termed the meeting as very successful and welcomed Union Home Minister Amit Shah’s insight on issues pertaining to the state.
