Union Minister Teli’s convoy meets with an accident, 3 cops injured

Union Minister Rameshwar Teli’s convoy met with an accident at Jagiroad in Assam’s Morigaon district on Friday.
According to inputs, the convoy was travelling from Guwahati to Kaziranga.
Although Teli did not sustain any injury in the accident, three cops including the driver of Teli’s car were injured in the accident.
Of the seven car convoy, four cars rammed into each other after one of the cars hit a barricade on the National Highway, sources said.
The injured cops are currently undergoing treatment at Mahatma Gandhi Model Hospital in Jagiroad.
Earlier on April 8, a youth was injured after being hit by a vehicle that was part of Teli’s convoy in Dibrugarh.
The incident took place near the Assam Medical College and Hospital (AMCH), wherein the youth identified as Deepjyoti Bhattacharya of Barman Nagar was critically injured.
