Guwahati: Rickshaw puller, another man found dead during Durga Puja festivities

Police investigation into both the cases is underway
Amid the Durga Puja festivities, two men were found dead in two different locations of Guwahati in the last 24 hours.
The body of a rickshaw puller was found lying in a pool of blood near the Hengrabari LP School.
The deceased has been identified as Khagen Kalita. It is suspected that Kalita was stabbed with a sharp weapon by another rickshaw puller. However, the whereabouts of the accused is not known yet.
The police is investigating the matter.
In another incident, the body of an unidentified person was found near ISBT (Inter State Bus Terminal) Guwahati. The deceased was found lying close to a transformer.
In another case, a youth was stabbed multiple times by unknown miscreants during the Durga Puja festivities in the Garhali area. Police probe into the case is underway.
