The case has been registered against Pramot Singh for allegedly promoting enmity

The Manipur Police have registered a criminal case against Meitei Leepun chief Pramot Singh for allegedly promoting enmity between groups and criminal conspiracy, among other charges.
An FIR was filed against Pramot Singh on July 8th following a complaint by the Kuki Students Organisation (KSO) at Kangpokpi Police station.
The KSO had accused the Meitei Leepun of instigating violence in Manipur.
