Arunachal’s Radha Bangsia and Rikpy Nyodu to represent India at the 19th Asian Games

Arunachal Chief Minister Pema Khandu congratulates the athletes on their achievement
Arunachal’s Radha Bangsia from Sangey Lhaden Sports Academy got selected at the Asian Games Selection Trials held in Gujarat.
She will represent India at the 19th Asian Games to be held in China.
Alongside her, Rikpy Nyodu has been chosen as a stand-by participant for the Asian Games.
Arunachal Chief Minister Pema Khandu extended his heartfelt congratulations to the talented athletes.
“Happy & proud to share that Ms Radha Bangsia from Sangey Lhaden Sports Academy, #ArunachalPradesh got selected at the Asian Games Selection Trials held in Gujarat. She will represent India at the 19th Asian Games to be held in China. Along with her, Ms Rikpy Nyodu also got selected as a stand-by participant for the Asian Games. Best wishes to both of them. Radha Bangsia secured her spot in the Asian Games after defeating her opponent, who was a former cadet Asian Championship 5th position holder from Maharashtra, and grabbed the first position with a huge margin in the trial selection conducted by the Taekwondo Federation of India at the Sports Authority of Gujarat’s sports complex in Nadiad from 16 to 18 June.
