Assam Police Apprehend 9 Bangladeshi Infiltrators, Deports Them Across Border

Taking to X, Chief Minister Sarma shared details of the operation, listing the names of the detained individuals. They were identified as Md. Mamun, Abbu Naim, Rashed Islam, Morad Ali Mandal, Md. Asraful Haque, Md. Basir Hawladar, Md. Robiul Hawladar, Md. Mahabat Ali, and Md. Mohim Hossain.

The Chief Minister wrote, “Today, in an alert move, @assampolice identified and apprehended 9 Bangladeshi infiltrators in Karimganj and sent them across the border. Good job, Team!”

Following their apprehension, the individuals were deported back to Bangladesh. Chief Minister Sarma congratulated the Assam Police for their swift and efficient action, reiterating the state government’s commitment to preventing illegal immigration and safeguarding Assam’s borders.
