A review meeting chaired by state home minister Lalchamliana on Thursday discussed about the issue of IDPs taking shelter in the state as well as the efforts being made to evacuate stranded people belonging to Mizoram from Imphal.
State home department officials said that 262 Mizos have been evacuated from Imphal so far and the majority of them are students while some people undergoing training, sick people treated in hospitals at Imphal and travellers were also evacuated.
