S Supongmeren Jamir appointed as new NPCC president

The AICC Central Leadership has appointed S Supongmeren Jamir as the new president of the Nagaland Pradesh Congress Committee with effect from March 31, 2023.
The decision to appoint a new president came after former president K Therie tendered his resignation to the Congress High Command on moral grounds after the debacle of the NPCC at the recently held general elections.
