The woman, identified as Urvashi Moran, has been desperately looking out for her husband, Pranjal Moran, who works at a coal mine in Ledo in Tinsukia district.
A helpless woman from Assam was left with no choice but to approach DGP GP Singh to seek help in finding her missing husband.
The woman, identified as Urvashi Moran, has been desperately looking out for her husband, Pranjal Moran, who works at a coal mine in Ledo in Tinsukia district.
However, on February 1, reports were doing the rounds of two deaths in the coal mine, and Pranjal has been missing ever since.
Although the coal mine management reportedly offered to extend Rs 5 lakh to Urvashi, she insisted that her husband be rescued from the mine.
Despite repeated appeals made to the Ledo Police, Urvashi received no help.
The only option left was to directly approach the DGP office.
