Assam Shocker: Dibrugarh doctor attacked, ear cut off

As per reports, the victim has also received severe injuries in his head
In a horrific incident, a doctor was attacked by two miscreants and his ear cut off. The incident took place in Assam’s Dibrugarh district.
The doctor has been identified as Dr. Geethartha Saikia from Bairagimath. Both the assailants assaulted the doctor and fled from the area, leaving him in a state of unconsciousness.
As per reports, the victim has received severe injuries to his head, legs, and ears.
The victim is currently undergoing treatment. An FIR has been filed in the case. Meanwhile, huge anger was seen among the people as, despite registering a complaint, the police are yet to take any action against the perpetrators of the crime.
