Taking exception of the NPP's "Credit Card," the TMC general secretary slammed the incumbent Conrad Sangma government especially in terms of unemployment as well as the border issue.
TMC general secretary Abhishek Banerjee today sounded the poll bugle for his party in Ampati to drum up support for Miani D Shira, and daughter of former Meghalaya Chief Minister Mukul Sangma.
Addressing a massive gathering at the Betasing Block Playground, Abhishek Banerjee came out all guns blazing against the NPP as well as the BJP.
Banerjee said,”When we challenged the NPP government to come out with the credit card, they came out with a report card. When our leader (Mamata Banerjee) came to Meghalaya, she challenged that if Conrad Sangma and the NPP government has the guts and the gutso, they should come with their report card in the last 5 years.”
Taking exception of the NPP’s “Credit Card,” the TMC general secretary slammed the incumbent Conrad Sangma government especially in terms of unemployment as well as the border issue.
At first, the TMC leader said,”Now Conrad Sanmga claims that Meghalaya has the lowest unemployment rate but You should see the facts on ground. TMC, when they launched in Meghalaya, than why 4 lakh unemployed youths have registered with us. That is a testimony to the fact that unemployment is the highest in this state. Meghalaya youths are deprived every now and then.”
Regarding the border issue, Abhishek Banerjee said,”People who have lived as the citizens as residents of this proud state, now have to live as residents of other state because You have a Chief Minister in the last 5 years who does not have the courage and the spine to stand for his own people.”
Banerjee escalated his attack on the NPP and said,”every vote to TMC means to uproot the corrupt , inept NPP government which has betrayed with Your love, with your trust and teach them a lesson which they will remember for the rest of their life.”
Apart from this, Abhishek Banerjee also slammed the incumbent NPP-BJP combine. The TMC leader alleged that the NPP does not have the courage to hit the streets against the anti-people policies of the BJP.
Reiterating the TMC stand, Abhishek Banerjee said,”TMC is the only party who is fighting the BJP and take them head on.”
