Nagaland Polls: BJP releases party manifesto, says committed to fulfill assurances made by HM Amit Shah on Frontier Nagaland demand by ENPO

BJP national president JP Nadda today released the party manifesto for poll bound Nagaland today. Soon after launching the joint campaign with the NDPP, Nadda highlighted on his party’s big commitment to usher development and progress in the poll bound state.
But, what was more signficant was that the BJP has reiterated it’s commitment to fulfil the commitment in letter and spirit given by the Union Home Minister to the Eastern Nagaland leaders during their discussions.
Nadda assured,”the talks with the Eastern Nagaland people the leaders of the Eastern Nagaland is ongoing with the Union Home Minister Amit Shah. Here we commit that whatever commitment that Home Minister has given to the people of Eastern Nagaland we stand committed and we will fulfill it. Because of the code of conduct we will not express it at this point of time, but yes whatever commitment Home Minister has made to the people of Eastern Nagaland and whatever has been agreed upon we will implement it in letter and spirit.”
“This is called main streaming of Nagaland,” added Nadda.
Nadda assured,”We will provide a special package for the Development of Eastern Nagaland.”
Among the other major promises include, enhancing connectivity, promotion of culture, upliftment of education sector, health sector as well as welfare of everyone.
Nadda while releasing the party manifesto assured that serious decision has been taken to build 12 airstrips in the state considering the tourism potential. In terms of road connectivity, Rs 3235 crore has been sanctionsed for National Highways in the state.
Besides, the BJP has also promised, free scooty to meritorious college going female students, digital tablet to all meritorious students of class 10 and 12, establishment of Saramati Cultural university in Kiphire with an investment of Rs.500 crores to promote Naga culture.
The BJP has also promised to introduce Neidonuo Angami women welfare scheme under which a bond of Rs.50,000 will be provided of the birth of a girl child.
The BJP has also promised for the introduction of Nagaland Tourism Skill Mission to provide training and employment opportunities to 50,000 local youths.
Not only this, the BJP has also promised free health insurance and social security insurance to all unorganized workers, 2 free of cost LPG cylinders to all Ujjwala beneficiaries every year, free of cost, quality education to all female students from KG-PG, 2 lakh self employment opportunities in the next 5 years.
In terms of employment, the BJP has assured of 2 lakh self employment opportunities in the next 5 years.
