The huge footfall in the Vijay Sankalp Yatra (rally) truly represents that the people of Tripura have decided to again bring in the BJP, said JP Nadda

Bharatiya Janata Party national president JP Nadda today kickstarted the party’s poll campaign in Tripura in the wake of the upcoming Assembly elections in the state launching a Vijay Sankalp Yatra (rally) from Amarpur.

JP Nadda said that the large crowd present at the rally and their support is clear indication that Tripura is progressing under the leadership of the BJP and that this growth will continue.

“The huge footfall here truly represents that the people of Tripura have decided to again bring in the BJP, BJP and BJP,” JP Nadda said.

He said that this is not an old Tripura anymore, this is a new Tripura, filled with aspirations and achievements. Tripura has improved significantly over the last five years under the leadership of former Chief Minister Buplan Kumar Deb and current Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha. The double-engine government has truly transformed the fate and the picture of Tripura.

Union Budget 2023-24, the first budget of ‘Amrit Kaal’ is a blueprint for India’s development and this budget will help India to become a ‘Developed country’ and offers opportunities for the holistic development to the state of Tripura, said JP Nadda.

He said, five years ago, Tripura was a land of insurgency, violence, bandh, strikes and terrorism. But now, under the BJP rule, the state has become a state possessing peace, development and prosperity.

He said that there had always been corruption, violence, cheating under the Congress rule and the Communists’ rule. They have united together now and both are corrupt. But the BJP has come ahead to save Tripura from the clutches of corruption and misrule.

Furthermore, JP Nadda asked the public to vote for BJP in the upcoming assembly elections in the state to keep Tripura free form corruption and misrule.

Tripura will go to polls on 16 February 2023 and the results will be declared on March 2, 2023.
