In a bizarre incident at Sonjan near Doom Dooma town in upper Assam, an ambulance from Arunachal Pradesh entered into Assam and unceremoniously dropped off three patients on the road and left off.
The three patients have been identified as Jeet Bahadur Tamang, Subhash Tanti and the third person has been identified as Khan. All three were found on the roadside by the local public who got them admitted to the local hospital at Kakopathar.
It is being reported that two of the patients are in serious condition. It was found out from the patients that they were undergoing treatment for about a year at a hospital at Tezu in Arunachal Pradesh.
They said that one police personnel and one staff member from the hospital at Tezu put them in the ambulance and later dropped them off at the roadside without giving any sort of explanation.
The incident has left the local people of Kakopathar shocked in disbelief and they are now demanding a thorough investigation into the entire matter.
