Arunachal Pradesh: Father accused of killing 2-yr old son arrested

The Arunachal Pradesh Police has made a big breathrough. Ashok Kumar, who is accused of killing of his 2-year old son in Tawang and was absconding has been arrested.
As per inputs, the police managed to apprehend the absconding person following a tip-off by Kharsa village Chairperson Yeshi Phuntsok, who came to know about the incident through various news reports.
The accused was hiding inside an under construction house, but was apprehended by the Village Chairperson Yeshi Phuntsok who took things into his own hands and passed the information and handed him over to the police.
According to the police, the incident took place at around 9 pm Sunday evening, following which the accused Ashok Kumar was absconding. However, the police had alerted all the check gates and thorough search was initiated.
It may be mentioned that the accused was running a grocery shop near the Tri-junction on Brigade road, Tawang. The victim was barely 2 years and 3 days old. Meanwhile, further probe into the incident is underway.
