The meeting comes in the backdrop of Governor Mishra telling Arunachal CM that no meritorious student should lose any opportunity

Frustrated, anguished and on the verge of losing all hope, aspirants of the All Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission Examination (APPSCE) have decided to meet Arunachal Pradesh home minister Bamang Felix to find a logical solution to the ongoing imbroglio post the question paper leak.

A majority of the aspirants who have been protesting for justice today said, “2023 will be a year of revolution”.

Hailing the role of Gyamar Padang who had exposed the paper leak, the aspirants, addressing the media said, “We hope that there will be a logical conclusion to the revolution which Gyamar Padang had brought in 2022.”

“We are optimistic about tomorrow’s meeting with our Honourable Home Minister (Bamang Felix),” said Tadak Nalo, who is an APPSCE aspirant.

Meanwhile, Ajur Ramching, another lady aspirant feels that rights of the young aspirants who are willing to serve the society have been taken away.

Expressing her sentiments Ramching said, “Whatever is going on in the process of investigation, we cannot waste our time because we have to study. Our main motive is only to study but our rights have been snatched away.”

Besides, Ajur Ramching also demanded that the government fulfils all their demands in a time bound as early as possible.

The meeting scheduled for tomorrow comes after Chief Minister Pema Khandu met Governor Brig. (Dr.) B.D. Mishra (Retd.) on January 7 and apprised the latter about the steps taken pertaining to the paper leak case.

During the meeting, the Governor had said, “No meritorious candidate must lose any opportunity due to the paper leakage case.”

So far the Special Investigation Cell (SIC) of Arunachal police has arrested 46 people including several government servants for their alleged involvement in the scam that has adversely impacted the lives and careers of several youngsters of the state. The SIC has informed that the case will be investigated by the CBI. However, SIC would provide any assistance required by CBI.
