With the growing opposition against the proposed Citizenship Amendment Bill, Assam Minister Chandra Mohan Patowary has lashed out at the Congress referring to a cabinet decision taken by the then Assam chief minister Tarun Gogoi on July 16, 2014.

Patowary alleged that the Congress is misleading the people of Assam by taking two different stands during the Joint Parliamentary Committee hearing in Guwahati and Silchar.
