The NGO Bal Sakha’s secretary, Aditya Kumar Chatterjee, was the guest of honour at today’s wall painting event.

A total of 15 students took part in the activity.

Speaking at the event, Aditya Kumar Chatterjee said, “Child labour is a black stain of civil society. We call everyone irrespective of caste, religion, or language to come together to abolish child labour and build a protected and better-civilized society for our future generation.”

Child labour is a kind of crime in which young children are forced to work and do adult-like tasks by engaging in business activities.

Children who are used for labour purposes are deprived of childhood, adequate literacy, mental health, physical health, and social well-being.
