The family members of Arunachal’s first Everester Tapi Mra have decided to call off their indefinite protest following a marathon meeting with ministers Nakap Nalo and Mama Natung.

As per inputs, The Arunachal government has a three-point demand put forward by the family members along with the Tagin Cultural society and Tagin Students Union.

A written assurance will also be provided by tomorrow, the ministers added.

It may be mentioned that Tapi Mra’s family members had been staging a protest at the Tennis Court in Itanagar for six days in support of their demands.

It may be mentioned that earlier Tapi Mra’s family members threatened to go on a hunger strike from tomorrow if their demands were not met soon.
