A’chal: Lumla MLA Jambey Tashi passes away in Guwahati

Meanwhile, the Tawang Festival 2022 has been called off following the demise of the youth leader Jambey Tashi.
Arunachal Pradesh legislator and popular youth leader Jambey Tashi passed away today owing to a prolonged illness at Guwahati’s Downtown Hospital. The MLA breathed his last at the age of 48.
Jambey Tashi was a BJP MLA from the Lumla constituency of the Tawang district of Arunachal Pradesh.
Tashi was also a Member of the National Minority Morcha. He had previously been a member of the Indian National Congress and People’s Party of Arunachal.
Taking to Twitter, Chief Minister Pema Khandu condoled the demise of Jambey Tashi and termed it a personal loss.
MLA Tashi’s demise has also been condoled by Union Minister Kiren Rijiju.
Meanwhile, the Tawang Festival 2022 has been called off following the demise of Jambey Tashi.
